IT Service Delivery Manager / Project Manager Central London – £60,000 – £80,000 depending upon experience

The IT Service Delivery Manager’s role is to lead. You will be very commercially minded and have a proven background in leading largescale, complex projects and have excellent stakeholder engagement as well as experience working for a global company. Working with both the sales and service delivery teams, the IT Service Delivery Manager will drive work streams to design, implement and run initiatives that create and sustain comprehensive customer solutions. The IT Service Delivery Manager must bring flexibility and focus to priorities such as improving processes and implementing new technologies while ensuring service delivery streams are tightly aligned with strategic business objectives as they evolve over time. The IT Service Delivery Manager is responsible for providing relentless focus on the value they provide for the customer.

Requirements for Service Delivery Manager / Project Manager

Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 15 years of technical project management experience or business consulting with at least five years managing large, complex IT projects which demonstrate a broad and deep understanding of complex business processes, multiple platforms and language technologies and financial management. A minimum of 15 years of hands-on large-scale project management experience will be considered to replace the educational requirement.

Responsibilities for Service Delivery Manager / Project Manager :

      You must have the right to work and live in the UK to be considered and be in commutable distance of London

Provide leadership between in various disciplines (Pre-sales, Sales, and Service Delivery)

Excellent stakeholder engagement

Ownership of multiple customer IT projects from Sales through to Delivery

Select manage, negotiate and maintain partners (partner network)

Collaboration with Sales on Workplace, Datacenter, Network, and Security solution design, including quoting

Maintain the financial portfolio

Drive high customer satisfaction

Maintain the appropriate skill sets within the delivery teams

Provide thought leadership for innovation

Deliver a predictable, reliable, and exceptional customer experience

Analyze and optimize services as business needs change over time

Ability to manage high profile, high complexity projects on a very short time scale, including issue resolution

Establish and maintain relationships and communications at all levels of the organization

Support senior managers across business lines in strategic analysis, project scoping and approach definition

Ensure the overall successful delivery of the portfolio projects

Provide all management reporting

Experience for Service Delivery Manager / Project Manager:

Mandatory:

 

PMP Certification / PRINCE 2

Experience in Service Delivery and Sales

Exceptional communication skills and experience working with C-level constituents

Experience in developing business and IT roadmap planning and execution

Extensive experience in developing and managing large engagements, managing the profitability and successfully meeting the customer’s expectations and goals

Leadership ability to influence customer’s expectations and goals

Experience with business transformation and change management

Experience and success in managing service level agreements with penalties

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

Ability to proactively develop and implement strategies that significantly mitigate risk

Ability to work and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Project

Demonstrated success in innovation

Preferred

      Experience in Workplace, Network & Data Center Solutions

MBA or equivalent education, training or experience
