My client are on the lookout for a proactive Freelance Data architect Engineer who has the technical ability to engage with stakeholders, create strategies and suggestions to effectively improve data efficiency. This client is in the growth phase and are looking to develop their team in the near future, hence needing someone to hit the ground running.

Responsibilities

You will be tasked with several important pieces of work where you will work closely with other departments and liaising with senior members to strategically improve company performance.

• Effectively communicate with other departments
• Create a data product for the BI analytics- reporting tables
• Produce frameworks for the data model using Snowflake and SQL
• Build new models and improve existing structures within company such as data pipelines
• Be able to improve company processes such as ETL, to improve efficiency
• Improve the transformation process by making it quicker
• Create documentation of reports for analysts to assess throughout all business departments.
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of BI platform

• Be someone who is driven and enthusiastic about your work and can effectively communicate that to other team members
• Proactive in nature who can create strategies and solutions
• Strong analytical understanding to quantify data and to provide solutions
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with team members

Essential Skills

• Experience with data warehouse and analytics technologies specifically Snowflake, AWS, Python, SQL and GIT
• Experience with creating data models
• Great command of ETL tools
• Experience with Agile methodologies in BI environments
• Thorough documentation of reports and processes to liaise with stakeholders and other team members

Desirable Skills

• DBT / Agile methodologies / Project management / Celigo / Rundeck
