Job description

A Business Intelligience Director is required for a well-established and passionate e-commerce organisation in the heart of Berlin. As driver of data-driven solutions and best-practices, you will also be leading and building a team of data specialists in line with the exciting and strategic growth of the organisation.

This is an excellent opportunity to be the BI Director responsible for growing a crucial team that will allow the organisation to thrive and make better decisions for the future.

The role:

  • Leading and building a team of talented and multi-cultural data specialists
  • Close collaboration with the leaders of the business to define and manage KPIs throughout the organisation
  • Delivering insights to stakeholders to develop and standardise data-driven metrics across all functions
  • Influence the direction, design, and execution of their data-infrastructure using cutting-edge BI/Data tools
  • Identifying new tech-trends to implement new tools and technologies into the business including establishing their Self-Service BI framework

Your profile:

  • Min. 5+ years' experience leading cross-functional teams and driving a data-driven culture
  • Excellent communicator and ability to motivate a team to achieve great standards of working
  • Strong technical competence within Business Intelligence/Data Analytics using technologies such as SQL, Python, Tableau, Snowflake, AWS
  • Strong understanding of Data Pipelining
  • Ideally B2C experience in an e-commerce or retail organisation
