Data Engineer (AWS / Snowflake / ODI)
A Data Engineer is needed for a Tech for Good company that specialise in providing affordable and accessible mobility support services for thousands of people with a variety of individual, disability needs. The Data & BI Team supports the wider business garnering insights and analysis from their Data Warehouse and Data Lake. As part of that team, you’ll play a key role in providing support in their Data Science and ML initiatives. You’ll be working closely alongside the Data Scientists to support them with a major Machine Learning project, creating and maintaining data pipelines, as well as wider responsibilities of analysing, designing and developing solutions.
They are looking for someone with strong Data Engineering skills in AWS, Snowflake and ETL processes.

- For the Data Visualisation Specialist, a basic salary on offer is between £65,000 - £72,000
- Hybrid working: 1-2 days per week in either their London office.
Data Engineer Essentials:
- Some experience or knowledge of AWS services and APIs (lambda, S3 etc.)
- Data Modelling including Star Schema/Dimensional Modelling
- Building Data Warehouse/Lake (ideally Snowflake)
- Using SQL extensively in a mainstream database like Snowflake, Oracle, MS SQL Server.
- At least one visual Data Pipeline/ETL/ELT tool (ODI, Informatica, DBT, Talend, ADF, SSIS)
- Programming in Python or mainstream database language (PL/SQL, T-SQL, Snowpark)
