Technical Support Analyst

£400 - £500 Outside IR35
3-6 Month Contract
North West-based Client

A Technical Support Analyst is needed to join an established Electronics retailer to support triaging faults with the business alongside having good technical knowledge to resolve the fault based on set criteria.

Working closely with the Software Development Team, responsibilities will include assisting with business, application, and development support, assist in resolution of operational issues by reviewing and triaging users, supporting and reviewing the application and development setup to understand the fault and either resolving based on set criteria, or working with the data engineer to resolve.

Essential Skills:

  • SQL Scripting
  • Ability to code in SQL
  • Diagnostic skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Documentation expertise
  • Ability to communicate technical jargon in layman's terms
  • Backend development experience
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with SAGE 200 systems
  • Systems integration experience
  • Front-end coding (PHP/Java) experience
  • Understanding of XML and Data Flows
