A permanent Power BI Developer is required to join a global company who own, operate and develop large scale data centres across Europe and Asia. With large scale data centres in major cities around the world, this company stores limitless amounts of data with low latency connectivity for a variety of businesses and organisations who operate in multiple industries.

The Power BI Developer role will enable the delivery of design and development processes for core data and reporting applications. Working directly with the Business Intelligence Director and the Systems and Integration team as part of the Information function. Furthermore, you will be delivering the build of company automated dashboards from source to report, work with the wider team to design and build a greenfield Enterprise Data Warehouse and deliver against the full strategy.

Please note: Due to the nature of the business, this role is required to work on-site from the Central London office 5 days a week.4

Power BI Developer Responsibilities:

• Analyse, design and develop new reports and Power BI applications
• Design and implement new data marts and data models
• Act as an evangelist for Power BI and enhanced reporting and visualisation capabilities
• Coding and developing features for new and existing products
• Upkeep and maintenance of existing products.
• Knowledge sharing/documentation - knowledge of best practice
• Taking part in planning sessions, demos and reviews
• Taking part in cross-team activities such as knowledge-sharing and documentation.

Essential skills & experience for the Power BI Developer:

• Proficient in Power BI, including report building and maintenance and DAX querying
• Proven experience delivering visually-pleasing effective and efficient Power BI reports
• Comfortable querying databases using SQL
• Excellent data visualization skills, including understanding of the end-user experience
• Passionate about learning new skills and self-development.
• Dynamic, self-motivated individual used to working in fluid environments.
• Thorough and meticulous attention to detail.
• Flexible approach to dealing with changing business needs.

Again, the package for the Power BI Developer role is a basic salary between £60,000 - £80,000 plus a generous benefits package. The interview process will include an initial 30 min video interview followed by second round and final face to face interview in the London office.
