SQL Developer – TSQL / ETL / SSIS / SSRS / Power BI

SQL Developer – TSQL / ETL / SSIS / SSRS / Power BI - What’s in it for you?:

  • Hybrid working policy. Preference to do 4 days per week on site but can be flexible to 2/3 days on site;
  • Depending on experience, a basic salary of £40,000 - £60,000 plus a generous benefits package is available!

As the SQL Developer you will be an integral member of a small data team that is right at the heart of this up and coming Insurance organisation. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to convert business requirements into technical business intelligence solutions. In doing this you will be developing, maintaining and enhancing existing applications, tools and technologies using SQL Server, T-SQL, SSRS, SSIS, .NET, Java and much more.

Essential skills & experience for the SQL Developer role:
  • One plus year experience working in a similar SQL / Database / Business Intelligence development role;
  • Knowledge and experience developing and supporting SQL Server RDBMS;
  • Knowledge and experience in T-SQL development, including Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions, Views, etc…

Nice to have skills & experience for the SQL Developer role:
  • Experience developing ad-hoc SSRS reports and maintaining existing reports;
  • ETL experience including SSIS for data warehouse development and support;
  • Data Visualisation experience working with Power BI (having migrated reports from SSRS);
  • Previous experience working in the Insurance / Lloyds of London sector.
