Location: 100% Remote, Berlin

Duration: 3-6 month initial contract (extension possible)

This fantastic project offers great exposure to a wide range of technologies to which a driven data engineer is needed to help transform my client's existing data warehouse. This company is exciting and dynamic and a company that aims to instigate change in their market. The company is aiming to set up a new tracking plan and replace Google analytics, and hence needs an experienced data engineer who is well versed in scaling up projects.

Your responsibilities

• You will be tasked to provide knowledgeable insights into scaling up the project and providing your expertise to other members of the team.
• Support the project's end goal of replacing the current Google Analytical system
• Aid with the setting up of the tracking plan
• Provide solutions to data challenges that present themselves throughout the project
• Scale up the project
• Introduce new methodologies and strategies to provide solutions for data warehouse improvement

Your Skills

• Python / SQL / Java / Apache Airflow / PySpark / Kafka / MySQL / Redshift / Kubernetes / Machine learning / Snowplow / AWS / Terraform / ETL
• Experience within Data Warehouses
• Have experience in data engineering in order to extract for analytical and machine learning
• 5+ years of experience
• Scaling up project experience
• Would be beneficial to have experience in R (Language)
