I've been with Venturi since April 2019. I chose a career in recruitment because, as arrogant as it sounds, I know I would be good at it, I picked Venturi because of the great people focussed culture where the company definitely put our 'people first', alongside this I know Venturi had a very community led approach to recruitment where there was a huge emphasis on giving back to the community, which is showcased by the 'Tech in Ten' podcasts and how much we are involved within the tech community with events, community groups etc.
Working here has helped me in many ways, as a human being, it has made me the person that I am today. Venturi has helped to progress my career and given me the things I never knew I needed to succeed at life. The training has been fantastic, without it I wouldn't be where I am, but the people are also a key part of that.
I'm motivated most by being the best that I can be and the most transparent and ethical recruiter possible, recently winning an award of being Manchester's most Ethical Recruiter.
My proudest achievement however has to be my most recent promotion to Team Leader was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do, due to market conditions and the high criteria we have at Venturi.
I'm inspired by many successful people mainly my idol Eric Cantona, but in a professional sense, I would have to include people like Johann Hari, Ben Francis and Jacqueline Gold.
On a personal level, my girlfriend inspires me every day working for the NHS on a bone marrow ward.
