AMA with Pete Heard, Founder of Logic Room

Hi All, I’m Pete Heard, founder of Logic Room. We help organisations tackle the complexity of creating stable software by helping them build better internal teams or by building high spec custom apps for them in our Reading office.

After more than a decade in software development, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a broad range of technologies and practices. Those I’m most interested in include:

  • Agile adoption
  • Continuous integration
  • Test driven development (TDD)
  • Software architecture
  • Javascript, C#, Java, Ruby
  • AngularJS, Node, .Net

I also help organise Digital Transformation Network events in Reading. The primary focus of the group is not about technology itself, but rather how technology can help execute and achieve business goals.

Outside tech, I produce Nu Disco under the alias Deepscale and run an increasingly busy YouTube channel where I do tutorials on music production.

I’m looking forward to answering your questions at the AMA. See you there!

When?

October 19th, (10am -3pm)

Where?

Venturi’s Voice Slack Group and submit your questions to the #ama channel in advance of the event.

The earlier you post your question the better – Pete will be working through the question list from the bottom up answering as many as possible but due to time constraints may not be able to answer all questions.

Pete will be answering questions live on October 19th. Be sure to check in on the day to take part in the interactive discussion.

We look forward to seeing you there!

If you are new to Slack, you can sign up and join the group in 3 simple steps
